The Roots

The Trunk
The stable support: Grows straight and slender, often completely knot-free up to the crown. Beech wood is a hard deciduous wood; it is dense, strong, and durable. The trunk represents our family, our home, steadfastness, reliability, our inner balance, and strength.
The Branches & Shoots
Individually in every direction: beech branches grow longer every year as terminal and lateral buds sprout, becoming woody and continuously increasing in girth. Until the tree is 40 meters tall and the crown is a mighty 15 meters wide. The branches and shoots represent renewable energy, renewal and new adventures, versatility, cohesion, the sound of the wind, and lightheartedness.
The Tree
The nature experience: The beech is one of the most ancient and widespread trees in Northern Europe. Since the Ice Age, its tremendous vitality has enabled it to effortlessly outcompete all rivals. The tree symbolizes our strong sense of unity, growth, development, stability, and enthusiasm.
The Fruits
The harvest: Beechnuts were already highly prized by the Celts and Germanic tribes. Today, they provide high-quality beechnut oil, enhance salads and game dishes, fill baked apples, replace pine nuts in pesto, and make delicious cookies. The fruits represent reward, harvest, inspiration, optimism, our children, and our future.
